Darts Betting: Rob Cross Interview
Ever since his PDC World Championship win in 2018, Rob Cross' career has gone from strength to strength. Only turning professional 11 months prior to his World Championship win, Cross has hardly had a chance to relax since. This weekend, 'Voltage' is playing in his first Shanghai Darts Masters and he told 21.co.uk that he is relishing the new experience.
"I've been really looking forward to it. Last week obviously went well, and hopefully this week will go the same, I'm really looking forward to it."
Cross has been travelling non stop for the last few weeks, following on from the previous World Series event. "I've had a few days off since Vegas, with all of the travelling" he told 21.co.uk. "So there's no excuse now, I've got to come out and play well".
Last week, Cross was defeated by Gary Anderson in the final of the US Darts Masters. He could set up a rematch against Gary Anderson in Shanghai, as well as potentially facing off against Peter Wright again. This is Rob Cross' first time on the World Series tour, so far without victory. He's hoping that is all set to change in Shanghai though.
"Everything is important, everything you go into you want to win. If you didn't want to win, it's a waste of your time. So it would be really good obviously to walk away with the trophy this week, so we will see how it goes."
21.co.uk, the best online casino, also interviewed world number 1 Michael van Gerwen and Peter 'Snakebite' Wright in preparation of the 2018 Shanghai Darts Masters.
