About Gigantoonz

Dr Toonz returns in another of Play’n GO’s hugely successful Toonz series. This edition’s gameplay takes place on an eight reel, eight row grid and is a cluster paying slot which means that pays are awarded when toonz of at least six match up in cluster. Needless to say, the bigger the cluster, the better the payout. In this game, your maximum win potential is up to 4,000x your stake.

As with the other titles in the series, the design is very bright and cheerful, and the characters are all adorable. This colourful game is full of features and the soundtrack certainly reflects that outer space vibe. As before, there are small aliens and also higher paying ones. In the pay table, these range from the Yellow Alien, Green Alien, Brown Alien, Purple Alien, Turquoise Alien, Blue Alien, Orange Alien, Harlequin Alien, Magenta Alien and the Red Alien, which is the highest paying symbol in the game and can pay up to 1250x your bet for as many as 30 in a cluster. The Gargantoon is the game’s wild and replaces all other symbols to help make some staggeringly big wins.

How To Play Gigantoonz

How to Set Your Stake

You can set your stake by using the bar that runs along the bottom of the screen which has a range of bet sizes running along it.

How to Spin the Reels

To make a spin, click on the green circle button to the bottom right. Doing so will set the reels spinning to play out the round.

Gigantoonz Bonus Features

There are four main bonus features that come with the Gigantoonz slot. As well as paying in clusters, this game also features cascading symbols which means that each time you form a winning cluster, the symbols that made the win will disappear from the grid, while new ones drop down into their place, hopefully making new wins as they do so. This is a process that continues on repeat until no new wins are formed.

Mega Symbols

This game also includes Mega Symbols which can range in size from between 2X2 through 7X7. Each of these has a random value applied of up to 13. When these form part of a win, they count as one symbol, but their value is used for the payout. Also, for each winning Mega Symbol, a wild is added to the grid.

Quantum Wilds

Quantum Wilds can trigger on any non-winning spin, with 5 to 10 Quantum Wilds potentially being added randomly.

Quantumeter

Finally, we have the Quantumeter feature. Wins will add a charge to the Quantumeter which has four levels of charge power each of which triggers a new action. The first level of this hits after 25 charges and triggers the Disintegration mode and will select four random symbols and remove them from the grid.

After fifty charges, the second level will trigger. This is called Metamorphosis and will pick a symbol to transform into another one. Level three is called Radiation and triggers after 75 charges. Here, between one and four Mega Symbols and two and five Quantum Wilds are randomly added to the grid. The fourth and final level comes after 100 charges have gone into the Quantumeter and sees Mega Symbols become mega Gargantoonz.

21.co.uk Review Of Gigantoonz

If you enjoy slots set in outer space then you are sure to love Gigantoonz. In fact, you might even have played more titles in this series in which case you will know exactly what to expect. This Play‘n GO release, though, is played on a bigger 8x8 grid than its predecessors. Once again tough, these aliens are full character and now that they have been supersized, can really pack a punch as well as well as a hefty payout.

Other titles available to try from Play‘n GO include the original of the series, Reactoonz, its sequel Reactoonz 2 and, on a slightly different note, from another of the developer’s popular series, Rich Wilde and the Amulet of Dead.
